This was our first Christmas Morning at our very own home. It was great to do our own traditions this year and decide what not to do. A tradition, Chelsey grew up doing was sleeping on the floor in her parents room with all her siblings Christmas Eve. Well we thought we would try that this year. Well it was a long night of bed swapping (Kenyon) and sleep talking (Hunter). It was nice to sleep in until 8am but it was a very long night and a tradition we might forgo next year.
I tried to get a picture of the boys on the stairs but Kenyon was too fast for me. So, I got one of Hunter, looking not so awake. The first thing Hunter did was go straight to his stocking and Kenyon started looking through everyone else's stockings. He was thrilled to see what we all got. It was really cute.
It only took us a few hours to open all the presents. I made breakfast cake and casserole for breakfast. Kevin's parents came over for some of the excitement and had breakfast with us as well as Kevin's sister Jenny and her family. Later in the day we headed over to the Granges and had a great Christmas Ham Dinner and the kids opened more presents. We had a great time with the family, especially watching them all enjoy Kevin's new Karoke game for his playstation. All in all it was a great Christmas.
