Camping Trip - Bear Lake.

July 14 - July 19, 2007

The boys were so excited to go camping again. They just love sleeping in the tent and roasting marshmallows. Well when we checked in we found out we couldn't have a fire or use charcoal, so no roasting marshmallows. Hunter was a little disappointed but by the end of our trip he was able to roast a few.

Our first day at the lake, the boys just ran right in and loved it. They loved being at the lake. They had a great time with their cousins and couldn't stop talking about how much fun Bear Lake was.

Sunday, July 15 - we celebrated Bob's 60th Birthday.

Tuesday, July 17 - We hiked Minnetonka Cave. We did this hike 4 years ago when Hunter was a baby. The boys did awesome and walked the entire 888 steps. Afterwards we rewarded ourselves to shakes.

At the end of the cave.

Thumbs up! We made it.

Wednesday, July 18 - we rented wave runners for a few hours this morning and had a great time. Hunter did not want to go on them, but we got Kenyon to. He was all smiles but I guess while out on the ride he kept telling Kevin to go back to the beach. After the ride though, Kenyon kept saying how much fun he had. I really shouldn't have gone for a ride but I couldn't pass it up. I had a good time but wish I could have really gone fast. Next time.

The rest of the day we just enjoyed the beach. By the end, the wind had dried us out and the sun had got the best of us.

We had two nights of wind that made our camp not so fun, but we got really good at taking apart camp really fast. Hunter was really scared so he sat in the tent trailer with Kenyon and said prayers. It was really cute. Our last night though, the weather was great. The boys were having a great time running around. And we also roasted marshmallows and made smores with our left over coals from dinner.

Hunter was all smiles.

After packing up camp, we drove home through Logan. We stopped at a lookout to get one last look of Bear Lake.
