For those of you who haven't heard, Kenyon had another febrile seizure Friday night. This is his second one due to a high fever caused by an ear infection. This time around though, I did not panic and we drove ourselves to the ER. I knew everything would be okay, so I was calm and just wanted to find out what was the cause of his high fever. I also know he is more susceptable to a fever induced seizure, so I need to be more aware of when he has a fever and do what I can to keep it down. Kenyon had an allergic reaction to the first medication the doctor prescribed, so his body is covered in hives. He is doing better today and is acting like himself and actually likes to take the new medication, which is a plus.

I'm so sorry to hear about Kenyon having seizures. Dylan has epilepsy and I know how scary seizure can be. Dylan doesn't have seizure all the time he's actually only ever had 4. All from eigther fevers or lack of sleep. But we have become experts in the area. Email me is you have any question. I can tell you what Dylan is on that we really like.
