This past weekend was all about Hunter's birthday. Saturday we went looking for the perfect cake. Hunter saw the race car and had to have it. So, while Daddy was gone Saturday evening, we made the cake. Mommy wasn't sure if it was going to turn out but the boys were loving every minute of it. As I finished with a certain color of frosting, they were right there to clean the bowl. When I finially finished decorating the cake, the boys were ready to eat it, but were disappointed when I told them we had to wait until Sunday evening.
Sunday we went to the Ahlstroms for dinner and celebrated with them. Hunter loved his presents and Kenyon also enjoyed that he got some too. We had a great time watching the boys jump around on their bouncing balls, even though Kenyon needed help.
Yesterday was Hunter's offical birthday and we had a great time having Chelsey's brother Chris and his family come down from Sacramento along with her sister Ashley. The three boys played really well together and Hunter was dying to open his presents. We told him we had to wait until after we ate lunch, but he explained that he had already waited a long time and acted like he was going to die. He was pretty funny.
Hunter finally opened his presents and loved all of them. Since then he hasn't stopped playing with them, and even slept with a few of them last night.
